R.D’Mauries Art – FREE EVENT

A self-taught artist, Raul began painting with oils and acrylics in 2005. Surreal artists such as Salvador Dalí and René Magritte are major influences, but Raul defines his style as “low brow” or pop surrealism. He continues to experiment with different styles and mediums to improve his techniques. Don’t miss his unique and intriguing piece entitled Pandoras Box!

Art from several other local artists will also be displayed, including unique items perfect for Holiday gifts. We’ll have super cute critters by the talented artist Pommi Nator too!

Other artists include Bill Weber, a.k.a. El Gallo, who is an Alameda native with murals prominently featured across California. He uses a surrealistic style, inspired by Salvador Dalí, to express views on culture and society. Dave Sylvesters paintings and illustrations include whimsical creatures and pop cultural references. Sara Edge specializes in unique art jewelry and paintings that reflect her love of the creepy crawlies in nature. Arianna Siegel creates “magical realism” in mixed media, drawing from the dark side of stories including Dorian Gray and Alice in Wonderland.
