At our last Collect! event, over 300 collectors, curators, arts professionals and artists were in attendance. It is a terrific opportunity to showcase your artwork to new audiences and have a great time doing it.

The funds from this event directly support year-round programming, including our Programs for Young Artists at BAC as well as our exhibitions, lectures, workshops and public events.

All artists whose work is accepted into Collect! will receive 2 complementary general admission tickets to the main event. Other guests are welcome to purchase tickets, available for sale at $40. VIP Reception tickets will be $70. Collect! artists also have the chance of recouping 10% of their work’s value if it sells in the auction which will be available at BAC and online.

About Collect!

Collect! is the largest fundraiser of the year for Berkeley Art Center. All proceeds from this silent art auction will go directly to supporting artists in the form of exhibitions stipends, professional development support and costs of materials. Funding will also support the Program for Young Artists at BAC that provides free, public art making workshops to artists under 18 years old and their entire families. These workshops are taught by paid artists and arts educators. None of this would be possible without your support.

This year, Collect! will begin with a public preview reception on Saturday, October 18, 5-8pm. This is an opportunity to check out all of the work available. Members at the Donor level and above will even have an opportunity to bid first! Come have a glass of wine and a delicious bite to eat and see how muchCollect! has to offer.

On Saturday, October 25 join us from 5-6pm for a VIP reception featuring beautiful hors d’oeuvres and incredible wine and spirits from some of Berkeley’s finest establishments. This is another great opportunity to get some more bids in before the general party begins at 6pm. At the general party, there will be more food and drink, music and live art-making happening all around you. Berkeley Art Center will be the place to be!
